LARGEST WESTERN RED CEDAR ON SOUTHERN VANCOUVER ISLAND

Growing in a steep ravine at a secret location, a chance in a lifetime to see ancient old-growth trees. Its diameter in one direction is 4.9 metres (16 feet); in other direction it is 3.7 metres (12 feet).
Taking an average of 4.3 metres (14 feet), its circumference would be 13.5 metres (44 feet). Its age is approximately 1200 years old.
Also visit the old hollow cedar, the twin cedars (1000 years old), and cedar grove with several trees 3.05 metres (10 feet) in diameter.
The old-growth hemlock and sitka spruce near these trees are dwarfed in comparison.
Climbing down a steep ravine is necessary, must be reasonably fit and active. There is no trail; no one else visits this majestic west coast giant.
Lunch included. Please advise of any food allergies or special diet.
2 persons $300; 3-4 persons $105 each.
