If you want to catch a salmon on the fly, this is the place to be.
Chum salmon: October through November (rivers). Very abundant
numbers of fish. Best on the coast.
Chinook salmon: mid-September through October (rivers).
Steelhead: winter - January and February; spring April; summer - July
and August, first week in September (rivers). Summer months
are good after rain.
Small-mouthed bass: mid-May through October (lakes). Lots of fish
from boat.
